Grade 9 visits Stasi prison

This week 9th Grade visited the old Stasi prison Gedenkstätte Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. This field trip included a guided tour with contemporary witnesses as well as preparation and follow-up time in the classroom as part of the curriculum. “Every year students find this field trip very interesting, but shocking and terrible at the same time”, Ethics teacher, Mr Wehrmeyer summarised the field trip.
