BBIS Drama Club visits our Secondary School

Yesterday, Berlin Cosmopolitan School were visited by the drama club from Berlin Brandenburg International School (BBIS) who performed a play to Grades 8, 9 and 10 called ´Bang Bang You´re Dead´ by William Mastrosimone. The play dramatizes difficult but important topics such as bullying, school shootings and suicide, as well as society´s expectations for boys, conflicts with parents and issues with anger.

After the drama club members performed, there was a discussion between the cast and our students about some of the topics raised in the play. Not only was the group´s acting fantastic, the message of the play was really important for students of this age to hear. We are really appreciative that the BBIS drama group took the time to come and perform at our school and hope they can come back and perform again in the future!
