6b took part in “Aktionstag 2018-Weltverbesserer”

Our 6b Graders took part in “Aktionstag 2018-Weltverbesserer” organised by the association wirBERLIN e. V. to motivate people in Berlin “to take on more responsibility for their neighborhood, their green area, the playground – in short, the public space – and help make Berlin even more liveable and endearing”. Together with their class teacher Ms Müncheberg, Grade 6b took on responsibility for public spaces around the Berlin Cosmopolitan School on June 8.

They did this by planting seeds and cleaning nearby Schendelpark. The students enjoyed this kind of activity very much and they realized how much litter humans produce on a daily basis.
