Berlin Cosmopolitan School music teacher at the Konzerthaus

Our music teacher and composer, Berthold Tuercke, composed music to some of the works of the German-Romanian recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Herta Müller. In a unique performance at the Konzerthaus, Berthold Tuercke who was accompanied by the "modern art ensemble" didn't want to miss the opportunity to declaim the text himself. Berlin Cosmopolitan School student wins 3rd place

For the nation wide writing competition "Post für Dich! Schreib zurück!" students of grades 9 - 13 wrote a reply to a famous letter of Franz Kafka. Our last year's grade 9 students participated in this competition in the course of their German lessons. Today, we received the fantastic news that our student Simon Stein won 3rd place out of 3000 participants. Simon convinced the jury with the "poetic quality" of his letter.
