Recap: CHBC Boys Basketball Team 1st Team Trophy
On Saturday, March 24th, our 4th and 5th grade boys Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan (CHBC) Basketball Team won! They won two games against Berlin-Brandenburg International School and Berlin International School. The winning Trophy Plaque will be displayed in our school. International Choral Festival: March 21-23, 2012
The BCS "Cosmopolitan Choristers" have been invited to take part in a 3-day international choral festival from March 21-23 called, "Berlin Sings!", where they will be working together with other primary school choirs from several European countries. Recap: Readathon, huge success
We had a great time reading and were able to raise lots of money for new books too. And now, here are the results! BCS students read a total of 16,644.5 minutes and raised 1,896.69 EUR. The class who read the most minutes is 4B, with 4158 minutes. The class who raised the most money is 2B. They raised 384 euros. Recap: CHBC U14 Girls Basketball-Tournament
Our Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan U14 girls 1st Basketball-tournament appearance at Berlin Sports School Conference (and first appearance in school history ever) on March, Saturday 9th, brought a sensational 2nd ranking. After a win in the semi-final against Berlin British School the BCS girls lost against BBIS in the finals. Recap: CHBC Basketball Game U14 Girls
On Tuesday, the first basketball game of our Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan U14 girls team took place against Berlin-Brandenburg International School. It was a tough match, but in the end, the BBIS team was victorious against the BCS girls who only had 8 players on their team. The final score was 26 to 19.

The 1st Annual BCS Readathon: Feb 13 — 19th, 2012
During the third week of February the BCS Library will hold the first annual BCS Readathon. We all know how enjoyable and important reading is, and by taking part you can encourage regular reading habits in your kids while supporting our library. All students from all grade levels are invited to participate in this reading challenge.

Choirs I and II visiting Seniors Home: Dec 15, 2011
On December 15th, choirs I and II will visit the senior home at Hackescher Markt, who we have established a partnership with, in order to spend the morning with residents in a "Christmas Song Sing-Along", and to perform some of the songs and dances they have learned this year. This is always a very enriching experience for the students, and they are already very excited about it!
