Soccer & Basketball Summer Camp (CHBC): July 15-19, 2012

The Soccer & Basketball Summer Camp from Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan & S.A.B is a go!  We appreciate all of the participants who are already signed up for Summer Camp at Sportschule Lindow. Recab: Open Arts and Crafts Afternoon

This week we had our first Open Arts and Crafts Afternoon. Parents were invited to come and do crafts with their children as well as enjoy some coffee and treats. It was a great opportunity to get to know one another better and spend some fun time with the children. We look forward to the next one!

Recab: Moves and Grooves Open Air Concert

Thanks so much to all students and teachers responsible for making this year’s Open Air 'Mooves and Grooves' Concert such a  great success. We were able to raise nearly 500 Euros for SOS Kinderdorf. The money will go towards Berlin based music programmes for disadvantaged children. We also thank all those who came to support this fun and unique event.

Recap: Last week’s Sleepover

Thanks to all the Afternoon teachers and staff for putting on another great BCS sleepover. A school wide sleepover is quite the event and takes a lot of effort and dedication to pull it off and have fun while doing it. Even though we were a little tired the next day, we all had a great time!

Recap: Danish Student Concert

Last week, BCS was lucky enough to have the pleasure of welcoming 130 singers and musicians from the Secondary Music School in Humble, Denmark. Their show was a stellar combination of choir and band performances. They were flexible enough to perform twice to ensure that all BCS students and preschoolers were able to see their outstanding show. It was such an impressive concert that it almost raised roof! 2nd Annual Moves and Grooves Openair: May 14, 2012

The 2nd Annual Moves and Grooves Concert is happening again this Monday, May 14th. This time we are making it an outdoor event in the BCS Park with a Rain Date of Tuesday, May 14th. Recap: International Mathematical Kangaroo

Mathematical Kangaroo is an international maths competition, with more than 40 countries taking part. Every year interested BCS students also have the chance to participate. The competition is held annually on the third Thursday in March. According to the organizers, the key competence tested by the Kangaroo is logical combination, not just pure knowledge of formulas.
