This week we had our first Open Arts and Crafts Afternoon. Parents were invited to come and do crafts with their children as well as enjoy some coffee and treats. It was a great opportunity to get to know one another better and spend some fun time with the children. We look forward to the next one!

Thanks so much to all students and teachers responsible for making this year’s Open Air 'Mooves and Grooves' Concert such a  great success. We were able to raise nearly 500 Euros for SOS Kinderdorf. The money will go towards Berlin based music programmes for disadvantaged children. We also thank all those who came to support this fun and unique event.

Thanks to all the Afternoon teachers and staff for putting on another great BCS sleepover. A school wide sleepover is quite the event and takes a lot of effort and dedication to pull it off and have fun while doing it. Even though we were a little tired the next day, we all had a great time!

Last week, BCS was lucky enough to have the pleasure of welcoming 130 singers and musicians from the Secondary Music School in Humble, Denmark. Their show was a stellar combination of choir and band performances. The 2nd Annual Moves and Grooves Concert is happening again this Monday, May 14th. This time we are making it an outdoor event in the BCS Park with a Rain Date of Tuesday, May 14th. Due to the outstanding success last year the Danish "Senior Music School" will visit us again this year with their amazing showcase. More than 100 secondary school students will appear on stage to perform their choir and pop band pieces.

Mathematical Kangaroo is an international maths competition, with more than 40 countries taking part. Every year interested BCS students also have the chance to participate.
