This week, the trainees at our BCS kindergarten came together for a special trainee meeting dedicated to the pre-Christmas season. With gingerbread, children’s punch and lots of lovingly homemade delicacies – from cinnamon biscuits and cakes to savoury snacks – a cosy and familiar atmosphere was created.
Together, the trainees looked back on their first six months, shared experiences from everyday life at the nursery and told each other how they would be spending the upcoming holidays.
This personal exchange not only strengthens team spirit, but also shows how committed and thoughtful our future educators are in shaping their professional careers.
The group expressed a special wish: the trainees would like to hold the next meeting at the farm of the nursery manager, Nicole Praima, as this has proven to be a very special place of learning. Numerous animals live there, and the visit provided valuable insights into the educational significance of animal-assisted experiences for children. There is great interest in revisiting this special place and deepening the added value for educational practice.
