The POLAR EXPERIENCE has reminded us emphatically that we are all jointly responsible for protecting our planet.

A collaborative work full of heart, excitement and shining moments.

The Edition #5/2025 of The Cosmopolitan carries the striking headline “Bad News” — and deliberately confronts the complex challenges of our world.

Students gained insight into the innovative ways local communities and scientists are working together to adapt to these rapid changes.

Our student Nosui Nakano is one of only 10 grand prize winners of 4102 submissions in this global contest.

Among other things, the award recognises BCS's vision: to empower children and young people to actively shape the future – in a scientifically sound, creative and responsible manner.

Everyone brought their favourite books and transformed the classroom into a cosy reading oasis with blankets, cushions, cuddly toys and torches.

In more than 34 workshops, the school building was transformed into a lively laboratory where children experimented, learned, questioned and marvelled.

The new cafeteria reflects what the Berlin Cosmopolitan School stands for – sustainability, community and appreciation.
