Now on YouTube: BCS Launches Two Inspiring Podcasts on Inclusion and Language Learning in Early Childhood

Berlin Cosmopolitan School is proud to share two new podcast episodes produced as part of the School in Hub Project. These conversations offer fresh insights into the power of inclusive practices and transformative language learning in the early years—and feature voices from the BCS community and beyond.

Episode 1: “From Arrival to Belonging: Creating Inclusive Learning Spaces”

How can educators help children from migrant backgrounds feel truly welcome from day one? In this episode, Esther-Marie Merz, Head of the BCS Communication Department, speaks with leading early childhood education expert Katharina Ehrenfried, long-time BCS educator and early childhood specialist Christina Plummer, and Monika Dengusiak, Gade Mete, and Michael Habekost, Heads of Kindergarten at BCS, along with a parent representative from our primary school. Together, they explore best practices in fostering belonging through strong family relationships, home visits, and celebrations of cultural diversity like International Day.
