Berlin Cosmopolitan students in the Midst of the Orchestra

Music majors from grade 11 visited a concert at Konzerthaus Berlin, where the audience sat among the orchestra musicians who made their timbres float around the hall – a unique way of listening to the very source of sound.

Conductor, Ivan Fisher led the orchestra through Strawinkys exciting and colorful Firebird explaining to the audience its musical dramaturgy. At a reception after the concert our students had the privilege to talk to the conductor about the work and the story behind it. What an experience !
