BCS Summer Show 2026: Celebrates Creativity and Community

Students, families, staff, and friends of Berlin Cosmopolitan School gathered last Saturday at the Nature Campus on the shores of the Müggelsee for the annual BCS Summer Show.

The event once again showcased the wide range of artistic talent across the school. From Kindergarten and Preschool performances to music, dance, drama, choir, and instrumental ensembles, students of all ages took to the stage and shared the results of their hard work and dedication.

Art, Performance, and Innovation

A special highlight was the Augmented Reality (AR) Art Exhibition.

By combining traditional artistic techniques with digital innovation, students created interactive artworks that allowed visitors to discover animations, hidden layers, and stories through their smartphones. The exhibition demonstrated how art and technology can work together to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and new forms of expression.

A Celebration of Community

In addition to the performances, visitors enjoyed a variety of food and activity stalls organised by students and parents.

International dishes reflected the diversity of the BCS community, while face painting and games such as can tossing provided entertainment for younger guests.

The Summer Show once again demonstrated the strong sense of community that characterises BCS. Families, students, teachers, and staff came together to celebrate creativity, cultural diversity, and the successful conclusion of another school year in the unique setting of the Nature Campus.

Resilience in the Rain

Even when heavy rain arrived during the outdoor music programme, neither the performers nor the audience allowed their spirits to be dampened.

Musicians continued with remarkable dedication, while families and friends stayed to support them. It was a powerful reflection of the resilience and community spirit that define BCS.
