Read onOur Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan U14 girls 1st Basketball-tournament appearance at Berlin Sports School Conference (and first appearance in school history ever) on March, Saturday 9th, brought a sensational 2nd ranking. After a win in the semi-final against Berlin British School the BCS girls lost against BBIS in the finals. Coach Wehrmeyer is very proud of his team, by name: Melis, Sophia, Sophie, Fee, Antonia, Tam-Anh, Nina and Jasmin!
Read onOn Tuesday, the first basketball game of our Central Hoops Berlin Cosmopolitan U14 girls team took place against Berlin-Brandenburg International School. It was a tough match, but in the end, the BBIS team was victorious against the BCS girls who only had 8 players on their team. The final score was 26 to 19.

We all know how enjoyable and important reading is, and by taking part you can encourage regular reading habits in your kids while supporting our library. All students from all grade levels are invited to participate in this reading challenge.

Read onOn December 15th, choirs I and II will visit the senior home at Hackescher Markt, who we have established a partnership with, in order to spend the morning with residents in a "Christmas Song Sing-Along", and to perform some of the songs and dances they have learned this year. This is always a very enriching experience for the students, and they are already very excited about it!

Read onAt BCS Early Years, the children enjoy getting together once a week for their "assembly". This is a chance to sing and share stories together, discuss recent and upcoming events and share discoveries and achievements. Social and moral issues are often addressed, making assembly an event which builds a sense of togetherness and community within the Kindergarten.
Read onOn Wednesday the BCS Rock Bands and Digital Music Club put on a small lunch time concert for their fellow students. We were lucky enough to see some debut performances as well as some old favourites!
