20th March, 2025

Last weekend, the young voices of the Berlin Cosmopolitan School’s Nature Campus Singers filled the Concert Hall of the FEZ Berlin with music, joy, and enthusiasm. The choir, consisting of approximately 60 talented students from Grades 1 to 3, delivered a spectacular performance as part of the Music Days festival, captivating the audience with a diverse and heartfelt repertoire.

The children performed an impressive selection of songs, showcasing their dedication and passion for music. Their setlist included a mix of uplifting classics and modern hits like “Du bist ein Geschenk”, “Regenbogen / True Colors”, “Survivor”, “Vois sur ton chemin”, “Thula sizwe” or “Imagine” from the Beatles. For their encore, they delighted the audience with three more songs:  “Füchse Berlin”, “Die Kinder des M. Matthieu”, and “Die Gedanken sind frei”.

Each song was performed with remarkable energy, and the young singers’ enthusiasm was palpable. Some pieces had been part of their repertoire for a long time, while others were specially prepared for this memorable event.

The audience couldn’t help but be moved by the emotional depth and joy the children brought to the stage. Among the favorites, Grade 1 students particularly loved singing “Something Just Like This”, while Grade 2 embraced the heartfelt “True Colors”. The Grade 3 singers delivered a powerful rendition of “Survivor”, showcasing their growing confidence and stage presence. Meanwhile, “Du bist ein Geschenk” remains the go-to birthday song within the choir, and “Oh Happy Day2 is a cherished tradition for Friday afternoons.

The Nature Campus Singers’ performance at Music Days was not only a celebration of their musical talent but also a testament to their dedication and teamwork. It was a wonderful experience for the children, allowing them to share their hard work and passion with a larger audience. Their voices, filled with joy and harmony, made a lasting impression on everyone present.

Congratulations to the Nature Campus Singers for an outstanding performance, and a big thank you to everyone who made this special event possible!
