For a cross-curricular project between the German and Art departments on design and advertising, Grade 7 visited and reviewed the 'Mucha, Manga, Mystery' exhibition at the Bröhan Museum.

This term, the class have looked at urban and contemporary art that steps out of the traditional gallery environment. To complement their work and highlight the power of cross-disciplinary arts, the class visited the stunning, multi-media David Bowie Exhibition. Grade 6 compared their high standards in art with those of famous artists when they were the students' age, with excellent gallery talks by Charlotte Esser and Charlotte von Thaden at Me Collectors Berlin for the current exhibitions 'Paperworlds'.

Grade 10 went on location for their Land Art Project taking the work of artists such as Richard Long and Andy Goldsworthy as inspiration and a starting-point, Grade 10 developed their own Land Art pieces.
