Mathe Olympiade 2018/19

1st February, 2019

The Mathematics Olympics is one of the most difficult and most prestigious mathematics competitions on offer to secondary school students. A selection of the best-of-the-best took part in the Berlin-Mitte round of the competition at Max Planck Gymnasium in November.

All of the BCS students applied themselves superbly but unfortunately only 6 students per Bezirk can progress to the next stage. We are pleased to announce that the following students will therefore take part in the Berlin-wide round in February:

  • Navid – who was 2nd place in Grade 7 in Mitte
  • Jonas – who was 3rd place in Grade 9 in Mitte
  • Finn – who was 1st place in Grade 10 in Mitte.

We congratulate all of the participants on their successes and wish Navid, Jonas and Finn the very best of luck!
