New Local History Programme kicking off soon!

For the last two years, Secondary School students have completed a ‘Local History Project’ each year in social studies class – but now we’re taking this a step further!

Starting in June we will be launching our new programme for grades 6-10, which, with the help of published author and local history expert Paul Scraton, will involve a variety of workshops, local walks and museum visits. After each session, students will be expected to apply what they’ve learned to do their own research projects.
