Let’s Experience History in a New Way: Die Müggelseeperle – The Story of a Favourite Place
On Saturday, 9 May 2026, our Nature Campus at Müggelsee will become a place full of stories, discoveries, and encounters.
With the exhibition “Die Müggelseeperle – Geschichte eines Lieblingsortes”, we warmly invite families, children, students, and all interested visitors to a special day by the lake.
What to Expect
A shared walk along Müggelsee, historical images in the open air, personal memories shared by contemporary witnesses, live music in the beer garden – and many small moments to discover, listen, and marvel.
A special highlight will be a surprise guest: a true aviation legend who will share exciting stories about one of the most spectacular events in Müggelsee’s history.
Geschichte spielerisch entdecken
Our younger guests can also become active explorers: With their own discovery questionnaire, they will set off on a search for history along the exhibition.
Those who look closely will find the answers directly on the display boards and discover the story of this special place in a playful way.
