A Celebration of Creativity – Final Exhibition of the IBDP Visual Arts Class

In March, the Berlin Cosmopolitan School proudly opened its doors to the public for a very special event: the final exhibition of our IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Visual Arts students.
Over two years of dedicated work, seven talented students developed and curated their own coherent bodies of work, demonstrating not only their impressive technical skills but also their ability to convey unique ideas through art. This exhibition marked the culmination of their Visual Arts journey in the IBDP, with each piece forming part of their final assessment, alongside their portfolio and comparative study.
Among the highlights were striking works such as “Coffee Date” by Delfin Ikiz and “The Doors of Berlin” by Zed Walsh, which captivated visitors with their originality and depth. Each student’s collection offered a window into their individual artistic vision while reflecting the high standards of the International Baccalaureate programme.
Guests, including families, friends, teachers, and art enthusiasts, gathered at Linienstrasse 57 to celebrate the students’ achievements. Opening speeches, drinks, and lively conversations made the event a memorable occasion to honour the hard work, creativity, and growth that these young artists demonstrated throughout their two-year journey.
We are sharing this wonderful event with you only now, as we waited for the official results of the IBDP exams to be published — a moment that confirms and celebrates the remarkable efforts of our students.
We congratulate our IBDP Visual Arts students on this milestone and look forward to seeing where their creativity will take them next.
