What is your favourite video game?

In a survey held last week by the Berlin Cosmopolitan School News Broadcast Club about what is your favorite video game, the results showed a tie between Minecraft and Roblox, each of which held 30.769% of the vote. Other games mentioned included Fortnite, Tetris, NBA2K, FIFA and Call of Duty.

In case you didn’t know, Minecraft is a game created in 2009 by Swedish game developer Markus “Notch“ Persson. The purpose of the game is to collect resources by exploring the world you spawn in. The main goal being to kill the Ender Dragon. While there is a goal in the game, there isn’t an end meaning that the only thing that the only limit is your own imagination.

Roblox is a online platform featuring millions of player-made creations for yourself to explore and even gives you the opportunity to create one yourself. It has become popular thanks to the astronomical variety of games, from tycoons to first person shooters to building. Roblox also features regular events in collaboration with creators or brands.

With both of these ‘games’ being so enticing and entertaining anyone who has played either of them could tell why there isn’t a clear winner as to which is more favored.
