A look back at BCS’s colorful “Rosen-Dienstag-Umzug” Carnival Celebration

Almost two weeks have passed since Berlin Cosmopolitan School hosted one of its most memorable events of the season—the vibrant Carnival celebration. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and laughter as primary students took part in a spirited “Rosen-Dienstag-Umzug” that brought a festive air to every corner of the school.

The parade kicked off on the ground floor with our enthusiastic first graders leading the way. They were soon joined by second and third graders, forming a colorful and cheerful procession that wound its way through the entire building.

From a birthday cake to a walking vending machine, from princesses to pharaohs, and even Mario Bros characters, both students and teachers showcased costumes as diverse and creative as our cosmopolitan community. This celebration not only provided a wonderful stage for imaginative expression but also allowed everyone to embrace a beloved German tradition in unison.

Reflecting on the day, it’s clear that the shared smiles and spirited participation have left a lasting impression on our community. The event stands as a testament to the joy and unity that define the BCS experience.
