Grade 11 Spanish Class Explores Screen Printing at Instituto Cervantes
Our Grade 11 Abitur Spanish students recently took their language learning out of the classroom and into the art studio at the Instituto Cervantes. During an inspiring screen-printing workshop, the entire session was conducted in Spanish — giving the students a chance to put their language skills into real practice while exploring a creative new medium.
Working together, Henri, Elisa, Wanda, Luci, Bisher, Pelle, Cornelius, Jurian, Emilia, Luise, and Kilian learned the step-by-step process of printing on fabric. From sketching ideas to choosing their favourite design, the students collaborated and cooperated to create a final print that everyone could take home as a shared memory.
Hands-on, immersive activities like this are a wonderful way to strengthen language skills, teamwork, and creativity — ¡Muy bien hecho, chicos y chicas!
