A special moment: Enrolment ceremony at the Berlin Cosmopolitan School

Last Saturday, we welcomed our new first graders to the Berlin Cosmopolitan School – a day full of joy, music and moving moments.
It is part of our special BCS ritual that each child is invited individually to come up onto the stage. There, they are allowed to ring the bell – a symbol of the beginning of a new phase in their lives – and then receive a sunflower as a sign of growth, warmth and hope. The children’s shining eyes and proud parents made this moment something very special.

The celebration at the City Campus was accompanied musically by primary school pupils from the string ensemble, conducted by Bridget Kinneary. At the Nature Campus, the Nature Campus Singers, conducted by Alexander Pavlovic, provided festive music for the enrolment of class 1c.
The primary school management and our school founder addressed personal and encouraging words to the children and their families. This made it clear that every new member is a valuable part of the BCS family, where learning, joy and community go hand in hand.

We warmly welcome our first-year pupils and look forward to shaping their educational journey together.
