The City Campus of the Berlin Cosmopolitan School – Learning in the heart of Berlin
Central location and historic ambience
The City Campus spans several locations in Berlin-Mitte on Rückerstraße and Mulackstraße. The main building at Rückerstraße 9 is a listed historic building that shapes the unique character of the campus and combines tradition with contemporary education.
Encounter, culture and community
A central meeting place is the recently opened cafeteria with its own kitchen. It is more than just a dining hall – it is a central place for socialising. With its bright, inviting atmosphere, sustainable design and diverse seating options, it encourages people to eat, learn and exchange ideas together, and also offers space for lunch concerts.
Concerts, school events and TEDxYouth@Berlin Cosmopolitan School take place in the auditorium.
Modern learning spaces for diverse talents
The City Campus has several art and music rooms, modern science laboratories, an IT room, its own dance studio, and a recreation and climbing room. The Creative Art Room and the games room on the ground floor encourage creativity, exercise, and social interaction in everyday school life. The facilities are complemented by a school library, which serves as an important place for learning and quiet study, supporting independent work, research, and reading.
Innovation and independent learning
A particular highlight is the Maker Space, which offers VEX Robotics students, among others, space to tinker, programme and experiment. The Upper Secondary also has its own rooms that support concentrated work and independent learning.
Making success visible – The Hall of Fame
In the Hall of Fame, we visibly celebrate the achievements of our pupils – as inspiration for the entire school community.
More about our individual locations
Kindergarten & Preschool
Our Kindergarten is just 20 minutes walk to the City Campus, offering young learners a nurturing environment that combines early childhood education with space to explore, play, and grow.
Nature Campus
Pupils in grades 1 to 4 at Nature Campus have the unique opportunity to learn directly in nature – by the lake and in the forest – through bilingual and transdisciplinary teaching.
Forest School
We have our own school forest in Prenden. Every week, the sixth-year classes spend a whole school day in the forest, and the other pupils also explore and learn in the forest.
