Doors between all parallel Group Rooms

We now have doors between all parallel group rooms. We are excited about the opportunities that this presents for the teachers and children. “Exploration Time” can now take place in the two rooms. The group teachers (of parallel groups) will work together to plan and implement “Exploration Time (E.T.)”.  E.T. is a period oftime (about an hour, but more or less depending on the age group) where the children have a wide choice of activities which support different areas of learning(such as playdough, sand, water, painting, drawing, junk-modelling, constructiontoys, looking at books or role play). When the children start working with their “themes” or “Units of Inquiry” then the areas will be adapted to support inquirybased learning which is linked to those themes and units.
