Sciences
All sciences are taught within the units of inquiry. Students study six units of inquiry with in the six PYP transdisciplinary themes. The reference for the choice of units of inquiry is the Berliner Rahmenplan.
Apart from the content children are learning in sciences, students learn in a scientific way by asking questions, finding answers and solutions and reflecting on their learning.
Using inquiry based learning methods we want to develop students critical thinking skills and involve them actively in their learning processes. The classroom is organized to be an inspiring environment with a lot of hands on and real life resources.
The process of learning is as important as the content taught.
