Lunch

Lunch for our students is freshly prepared every day between 12 and 2 pm. The meals chosen cover a wide variety of nutrients so that all food groups are sufficiently covered. The basis cooking are grain, vegetables and dairy. Meat and fish take a supplementary role. Pork is not served.


Students can choose from two meals on offer and help themselves from the diverse salad bar. Every tasty meal is prepared rich in essential vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, essential fatty acids and protein. Dried produce of the vegetables and fruit come from organic farms. Meat is bought solely within the region of Berlin; fish dishes only contain pieces of fillet.

The wholesome approach to cooking dictates the exclusive use of cold-pressed, non-refined oil, with a high degree of polyunsaturated fatty acids with fat solvable vitamins. It goes without saying that that no recipe includes refined sugar. Vegetables are steamed on-site in our school kitchen.

At 3 pm afternoon all students can help themselves to a snack of freshly cut organic fruit and/or vegetable.
