On Wednesday, February 3, students from grade 6 to 12 will each get 45 minutes to experience this amazing sport. The American Football Day will take place in the Franz-Mett-Sporthalle.
Last Friday, our CAS students and the BCFS catering staff supported the team of the Berliner Stadtmission‘s homeless shelter for the night. As the year before, the BCFS catering staff had cooked a tasty stew for the visitors of the homeless shelter.
Arriving at the shelter, the team of students and catering staff were given a tour around the facilities. The group then was given the first instructions on how to organize the catering for the visitors. The mixed BCS group was divided into little groups: one served food, the second helped washing the dishes and the third supported handing out clothes to the homeless.
On Monday, January 18, our art teacher Mr. Dulloo visited the Cooking Club and presented a wonderful Mauritian recipe of roti & rougai.
The students enjoyed the cooking process and the delicious bread (roti) and salsa (rougai) very much. Thanks to Mr. Dulloo for the visit and introducing such a yummy recipe.
Welcome back BCS Community! We at BCS recently celebrated a milestone by cutting the ribbon at the new Upper Secondary Wing located next door to our main building at Rückerstraße 8. It is now officially open! Our staff and students are excited about the new space with its smart design and ample room to study. Most of our Abitur and IBDP classes will also be taking place in the new space, giving our upper secondary students (grades 11 and 12) a place to call their own!
